Ok well I have this shop class in highschool and I think I recall the teacher saying that even if you have little cuts, report it. I THINK!
Well, this metal I had to cut was sharp and the corner gave me a little cut on my finger but hurts liek hell! Do you think it's just like a normal cut or do you think I need to do something else? I never got got by that type of material before.
uisforukelele answered Saturday December 15 2007, 10:05 pm: it sounds like it's just normal. was it rusty? then you would have a problem. are you having muscle spasms or fever? is the area looking infected? if not, then you are probably ok. get your mom or somebody to look at it and make sure that you don't have a little piece of metal in your finger- i doubt it, but if you do, you can get it out with tweezers. If it starts to get red around it, instead of pink, is when you should start to worry. [ sillyrob's advice column | Ask sillyrob A Question ]
orphans answered Friday December 14 2007, 7:08 pm: It could be a lot of something, or it could be just nothing, but either way you should see the nurse...or a doctor if after you clean it, it still hurts and gets red or puffy. You could also have some shards of metal in there, if you were working with say really sharp paper, it wouldnt be that big a deal, but metal can be VERY small, especially when you are cutting it and pieces fly off.
