I'm glad to know that someone other than me isn't going to just walk up to somebody and be like, "Hi, I'm blah blah, let's be the best of friends!" Don't get me wrong, that's not a bad idea, but some people are just too shy to be that outgoing with a person they don't know. If you haven't talked to him, it might just be a physical attraction, try asking him a question. Let's say that he's in your english class you might want to ask him, "Do you get this part of the book?" It could be a good conversation starter, even if you do understand it. :] Trust me, I've had practice with this (stiil do) Once you get a conversation going try to be bold and ask him for his e-mail address or AIM screen name. You never know, taking a risk could wind up being your best option.
Hope I helped!
