over the summer, me and this boy Cody were "talking" and i was completely in love with him and i hate when people throw that word around. i mean we were on the phone till like three or four in there was one time we were on the phone for seven hours straight. : )and he said he loved me too. well we slowly stopped talking. then a lil after school started he started dating this other girl Danielle again. they had dated before, but they broke up because she started this fake rumor about how he got her pregnant when they didnt even do anything. well i got kind of mad at him for obvious reasons. well he called me one day and said that he didnt want me to be mad at him and wanted to work out and stuff like that. then he said "well if if makes you feel better, me and Danielle aren't doing too well." i told him that i wanted him to be happy, so that didn't really make me happy but i did kinda get my hopes up. well, they're still together and i think i still love him. i think about him all of the time and i dont know what to do. i want to call him and ask him if he still has feelings for me but im scared to feel like an ass. please help.

You are in a tough spot. Because he can either say no and you may feel bad, but if he says yes there isn't anything you can do if he is still with Danielle.
Maybe wait a little and see if they do break up, if they do then ask him. But in the meanwhile, try to limit your contact with him and it will help you with not having feelings for him. That way if things do work out with him and Danielle, you would have already moved on.
