XBOX 360 HEADSET HELP!

Question Posted Friday December 7 2007, 9:06 pm

The headset is pluged in, and the sound comes through the TV and not the headset. I can't hear anyone else through the headset, but i can hear the other players through the TV speakers. No one can hear me either.
Is my headset broken? Or... Whats up?
Thanks
<3

"Others Can't Hear You

Make sure the headset connector is plugged in securely and that your headset isn't muted. Make sure that voice isn't muted in the Xbox Guide. Check your game manual to determine whether you need to push a button while speaking."

First, make sure that it really is plugged in all the way. You may have accidently bent a wire with it, by just maybe, throwing it down on the couch or something after your done with it.
Hope I helped!! <3
