Research Paper- People who don't like gay people answer.

I'm doing a research paper on gay marriage, and i need to know what people who aren't particaually religous or who don't care about being gay is a sin, why don't you like gay people?

I also think that a child brought up in a homosexual household will have a pretty rough life: not because the parents are bad caregivers, but because classmates will make fun of them and consider them "wierd" if they have two moms or two dads. There will also be no father figure if its a lesbian couple, and no mother figure if its a gay couple, no matter how feminine or masculine the person may be.
uisforukelele answered Thursday December 6 2007, 7:08 pm: as far as i can tell, people who aren't religious and don't like gay people say that because gay people "creep them out" or something. our society influences us quite a bit, and if everybody else goes around saying "gay people are so weird, etc." then that could also be the cause of why nonreligious people don't like gay people. in my opinion, it's much more likely for a christian to not like gay people than for somebody who isn't a christian to not like them. i'm not sure about other religions because most of my friends are christians, but they go around saying "god hates you if you are homosexual, god doesn't want you to be gay" (i don't endorse that at all whatsoever, that is just what people say, in general). i personally am okay with gay marriage. it doesn't bother me one bit. i'm not gay, but that doesn't mean that other people shouldn't be able to swing that way.
