it all depends upon what kind of scent you like personally....if you like something kind of floral I would suggest:
cheap: In Bloom from The Healing Garden
splurge: Emporio Armani Night by: Armani
if you like something a little more citrus-y try:
cheap: very sexy by: victoria's secret
splurge: Tommy Summer by: Tommy Hilfiger
if you like something watery:
cheap: waters by: the healing garden
splurge: Cool Water by: Davidoff
as for a good every day perfume I would suggest maybe Live by: J.Lo...it's light and refreshing, it's not overpowering and just a spritz will last all day.
