Am I using a tampon right?
I am a first time user of tampons. I actually feel the tampon in me but it isn't really uncomfortable. And I know you are not supposed to feel it in you. Do I have to actually insert the whole tube into my vagina?? It seems like it would be quite painful.

no your not supposed to leave the whole tube in. my advice for you is read the directions on the box they're actually pretty helpful. it also helps if you insert it at an angle

when you said: "Do I have to actually insert the whole tube into my vagina??", that makes me think that youre leaving the outer plastic part on with you. the tampon itself is about like 1-2 inches long. the outer part is only to make it easy to apply. after applying it, the only thing that should be inside you is the cottonish part.
