selling guitar

Question Posted Wednesday November 28 2007, 2:26 pm

im thinking of selling my guitar. My Mum spent a fortune on it, about £200+ ($400+) and i dont even play it. The problem is, i dont know how and where to sell it. I want to make the money back, and maybe even a profit, but i think thats pretty unrealistic as its second hand. i cant find it anywhere on the net, so i cant find an average price. its a vintage metal axxe, mostly glossy black, but yellow aswell. Those shops that buy things off you to sell, like a pawn shop just rip people off so i dont want to do that. any help?

I bought my guitar on ebay. People seem to get pretty good prices for their guitars on there, so long as it's a nice one.

craigslist.com is a good site. you can post things up for sale and people in your area find you so you don't have to ship it and stuff.

hope i helped :)
