Something more... It has nothing to do with love or anything of that matter. I feel like he wants to get to know me too, but he's really shy around me and I hang out with another group usually, and he's always by himself.
I feel like he wants to talk to me, but again he's worried about what I'll think of him. He's teased a lot and I think that's why he doesn't trust me...
How can I show him that he can trust me?
PS: I've given him money, and paper or w/e and he's always repaid me.
Thanks,
AJ

Ok, now I get what you are meaning. I was a bit confused before. Sorry about that. :)
Well, you can invite him to hang around with you and your friends when you hang out with the group so he knows he is welcome to be your friend, and that you are serious about wanting to be friends.
Or, if your group isn't the accepting type (since you say he is teased) then go hang out with him too, so he isn't left to be by himself, and to show him that you don't care what others think of you being friends with him.
When people are teasing him, stick up for him- tell them to back off. Me and my group of friends were the teased outcasts of the school, and we stuck up for each other. Even our friends we had that were of the popular sort stuck up for any of us. That is friendship.
However, don't get out your cape and try to play the hero roll. You don't want him to feel as though you think he can't stick up for himself. Save that for when people are talking behind his back and he isn't there to defend himself.
Do you have common interests? Invite him to go do something after school. You increase your chances of getting to know someone outside of school and in person (not just via internet or phone).
For example: If you both like video games, invite him over to play your new Guitar Hero, or something. If you both like to go to movies, invite him to go along to watch the latest movie at the theater.
As for him being afraid to talk to you, you just have to give him time to realize you are a good guy. He may just come out of his shell a little at a time, but if you show him you mean to be a true friend to him, he will let you into his world in due time.
Trust really isn't something you can show- it is something you earn. You can't earn someone's trust and friendship by giving money, etc, because it's something you can't buy. Not saying that helping someone out isn't a very kind gesture, because it is. There is nothing wrong with helping a guy out when he is out of paper or in need of a few bucks.
I can't tell you how to earn his trust other than to be there for him, and to be his friend no matter what everyone else thinks about it. It takes time to earn trust, but just be patient.
Again, sorry I was confused, but thank you for clearing it up and adding details so I could do more to try and help. :)
