ESPIN THE BOTTLE

I met this boy on espin and he is sooo nice and he lives 45 mins away from me and he gave me his cell number and he's supposed to call me today.
The thing is, when we meet in person how can I convice my mom to be okay with that?
She assumes that any boy you meet online is a murderer/pedophile. (and i agree with her but still...)

its scary at first because you never know who he is or if he is lying. you need to try to talk to him more because you never know if he is a murderer or raper. i would get to know him longer.

They were absolutely right in giving the idea of meeting with a friend- but it would probably be safer to meet with a parent.
Who's to say this <b>isn't</b> a 45 year old man looking to rape you and murder you? Seriously, I've heard enough of those stories online, and I would hate it for you to become another statistic.
I don't object to you meeting him, just do it with a parent, please.

well first off, your mom isnt going to be okay with that, because of course, she is a mom!
but..
what I would do is meet him WITH a friend just to be on the safe side, you can never be to sure about people you meet on the internet.
but I've tried espin the bottle and it seems like a safe site.
who knows, he could be the person you've been waiting for. just tell your mother he is a friend from school.
