Okay. so here it goes. i have a cousin and shes my best friend. The only problem with her is that i need to hide things from her. So she wouldnt get mad at me. im always scared shes going to get mad at me. So i always do everything her way. But this is the question. I was getting a new phone and i knew she liked this phone but i got the one that flips open and flips on the side and my mom was like make sure you get a phone you really like because your going to have it for two years. so i got it because it was the only phone i liekd. and now my cousin is ticked off at me because i got the phone she liked. one thing is that i always text alot so i would get more use out of it as for her she has texting blocked. and now i feel like the bad guy getting a phone i liked and my friend says that i should be the bigger friend and just act like i dont care because she know its going to bother me and i dont know waht to do i feel like i should jsut go freakin return it. and then my other cousin is like Oh.. i heard you got a new phone .. and he was like well you shouldnt return it you got it you like it your life is perfect. like idk what to doo..
For example, she is jealous of your phone, so she is having a bird in order to get you to return it. Kinda an "I can't have it so I don't want you to have it either" attitude.
Your friend is right- you should be the bigger person and stop allowing her to get under your skin. You will be far better off in this life if you stop worrying if something you enjoy is going to make her mad.
There is enough stress in life- why add to it by walking on egg shells around your cousin?
