For you crafty people,
I would like to make a simple hat. [Something like this [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)] Does anyone know of any tutorials for this with pictures [crocheting only]? I'm a beginner, all I've made are various scarves and a poorly made sock with no pattern. I can't seem to follow patterns well without a visual picture. Help? I undestand how to do stitches and stuff but all I see is the finished product.. how am I supposed to know what it's supposed to look like in the progress of making? :[
Should I just give up on this?

There are lots of different books and patterns out there but all the ones i found you have to BUY so either buy some off the computer (like there are good links to ones to buy on the webiste u got earlier in a post) or check out Joann Fabrics or Michael's or sumthing hope i helped!

No don't give up. You just have to keep trying and practicing in order to get better.
I couldn't find what you are looking for, hopefully someone else will have better luck. I searched for yarn cap picture tutorial, and also video tutorial. Best I could come up with is crochet lessons. Maybe you will find a lesson on here that will be helpful to you?
