friend or not?

Question Posted Monday November 19 2007, 6:34 pm

There's this guy in my class, he's so stupid but i thought we were friends. In class he didn't know how to do anything that we were learning on the computer so i did half the work for him and then he told me to finish the whole thing up since i'd do it faster.

I finished the WHOLE thing for him and just as i was about to work on my computer, the teacher assigns more things to do on the computer.

I was starting to work on my computer and then he tells me to work on it and I'm like no and he called me a douche bag.

Are we friends?

Maybe he just said douche bag at the heat of the moment?

Maybe I'm looking in too much of this?

From my point of view, it didn't seem like you were good friends to begin with. And if he asks you for more help in the class, just tell him to pay attention more, and maybe tell him what to do again. But don't do it for him again, if he is gonna treat you like that. In fact, i wouldn't do it again at all. He probably has no respect for you, and expects you to do his work for him. And since you said no, that probably surprised him and he just said the first thing that came into his head. Just let him fail, and then he will realize that he should pay attention, rather than rely on other people to do his work FOR him! hope i helped! Don't forget to rate!

You do his work for him and he insults you? I wouldn't bother doing anything for him again if I were you!
and to be honest, there's no way of knowing whether he called you it in "the heat of the moment"
He was either joking, or he wasn't. You could ask him.. or see what he's like in future with you. Friends can tease one another and not realize it's quite hurtful at the time. Talk to him.

What 'heat of the moment'? You were doing his goddamn work for him. If that is what it takes for him to get 'heated' I'd hate to see what he'd call you if you lent him money.

So, let's look a bit further into this shall we?

He is, at very best, a lazy jerk with a nasty tougue.

If he considers you a 'friend' he treats his friends pretty shabbily.

If you consider him a friend, you put up with more shit then I would.
