embarrassed to talk to doctor or mom

Question Posted Saturday November 17 2007, 4:02 pm

I've been having this weird problem that I am to embarrassed to discuss with my mom or a doctor. I've been getting so stressed out and crying all the time because I don't know what is wrong with me. How can I get over my fear and talk to a doctor?

if something is seriously wrong then tell your mom, then a doctor..its hard but that is the only way...think of how much better you will feel if you tell your mom...your mom or one of her friends might have been there...maybe even your doctor...they probably understand still however..

I can understand your embarrassment, a lot of people have problems that they'd rather not discuss with anyone. However, you really need to, if you have a problem. I would actually tell your mother, and then the doctor. I cannot exactly tell you how to get over your fear, other than just stepping out of your comfort zone and telling one of the two of them. Try thinking of how much better it will be once you let them know, and the problem is being taken care of. I'm sure that will be a relieving moment.
