Question Posted Thursday November 15 2007, 6:59 pm
So I am a gymnast and lately I have noticed my back locking up. I dont know if that is the right thing to call it or not but when I do some backwards tumbling it locks and i cant get over, I just fall. It occurs most when I am do backwalk overs on the beam and back handsprings on the beam, it dosent really occur very often on like floor but sometimes when I am doing a layout full it locks so I cannot twist, then other times when I am on bars a lot of times when I am working giant it happens to. What is this what can I do to make it stop occuring? Thanks :)
Unfortunately, if you have just strugged it off for awhile and keep going, you could ultimately be risking your chances of ever going back to the same old you when it comes to gymnastics. So, in other words, go see a professional. This is nothing to play with. [ jonny2370's advice column | Ask jonny2370 A Question ]
