Just friends or more than that?

i've been in love with this guy since i was 9 (never knew if he loved me back, but we were good friends) and we're seeing a movie together in about a month. (alone) The thing is, I like him soooooo much and in my mind it's a first date- but I don't know if he thinks it's just a friend thing or not... how can I know wheather or not to kiss him/hold his hand or anything?

Hello, I'm in a similar situation with my best guy friend. Actually, he's my best friend in the whole world, so I know how you're feeling. I'm not sure that it's the right time to come out and tell him how you feel, since this is sort of a first date or get together alone - so try to read his body language and notice the way he talks to you, whether it be flirting with you, or with a low toned voice, etc. There are plenty of ways to tell if he feels the same as you do, though I know sometimes, it isn't the easy. Umm well you know like when you are sitting next to him during th movie like rub down arm back and forth but bot too quickly and ask him how he feels and if he likes you and if he would go out with you i mean not to quick becuase he might not be excpecting it and might come on to strong and make him nervous but im sure youll do it just fine. It kinda achully happen to me but my see i was about to give up and on relationships but something told me not to and then like a week later one of my friend's of the family that ive known almost all my life she asked if i would like to go with her and her cousin to the mall and to the movies well that night her cousin and i were sitting next to each other and i like kinda put my arm next to her on the arm rest and then she started flirting with me and rubbing my arm back and forth and then she softly but her hand on mine and we held to eachother's hand and then we looked at eachother and then we got closer and closer and we just kissed and that was my first kiss because i was holding it for the right girl andnow were getting married when i turn 18 im 15 but we love each other so much sorry it was so long but you know it helps if you know somebody went threw it similarsly and if you need any other advice ask me.

you should let him make the first move if he dosent do anything that probably means he only wants to be friends just wait and see what happens
