i dont know whats wrong with my camera, but anytime i put a battery in it (anykind of battery) even if its full and brand new, after turning it on once or twice , the next time i turn it on it will only turn on for a quick second or just not turn on, and it says the battery is empty...does anyone know what this is and how i can fix it????
oh yeah and my camera is a Sony Cyber-shot 3.2 megapixel...smart zoom DSC-P72...MPEGMOVIE VX (if thats important)

If you have a Lithium-Ion battery for your camera (the square battery), then try charging it in a different electrical socket, maybe there is a problem with the one you've been using. That's happened to me before. If not, buy a new battery.
If these don't work, maybe there is a way you can "reset" your camera, like you can with an iPod. I don't think there's anything wrong with the camera itself, just batteries. [ boxocrackas's advice column | Ask boxocrackas A Question ]
