resizing pictures

Question Posted Saturday November 10 2007, 11:39 pm

I have a pretty nice camera, 6 megapixels so the pictures turn out really good and clear and I load them on the computer and have to resize them. But when I resize them, they get a little blurry and the quality isn't as good. I resize them on paint. Is there any better way to resize them?

Thanks :)

Hello. First thing you may want to do, is change the setting on the camera itself, so that your pictures are automatically taken in the exact quality you need. This would be the easiest thing to do, you have 6 megapixels but you dont have to use them all. It would also save space on your camera. If you can't figure that out, try getting a photoshop program. I'm sure you can find one at freedownloads.com. One last thing, instead of resizing you can always crop, or cut away excess of the photo to save a litte bit, that would keep it in the great quality.

Try using resizing websites:

More here:
only search advicenators.com

You can also resize them on Word.
Do you have any photo editing software? (photoshop etc) If not, you might want to try some free trials.
Download Gimp. It's like photoshop but free. Or try websites such as www.lunapic.com, [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
