Perhaps if you show them you are mature enough to do things alone, they may negotiate with you.
Talk to them. You should try to negotiate, too. Ask to go to your friends house for a few hours. and make sure you follow all their rules if they agree - such as being back on time etc. Ask if it's possible for one of them to drive you to your friends house so they know where you are and who you are with etc.
That's the most you can do to be honest. If they still say no, unfortunately, you're just going to have to suck it up. You live under their roof, so you must follow their rules. I know that's not what you want to hear, although it's the truth.
So talk to them and have a mature conversation about it. Within time, they will most probably let you out for a little bit every now and then and if they know they can trust you, you'll be able to do it more frequently.
I must also add, your "thing for tamil gangsters" - if they do let you out and find out you're hanging with them and possibly hooking up with the guy you like, they'll most probably never let you out again, so don't push your luck just yet. :)
You will be old enough soon for all of that later.
Best of luck though girlie! [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
