What's your advice on this?

Question Posted Tuesday November 6 2007, 8:07 pm

Ok well this is the first time I'm going to my best friend's house and we've been best friends for years.

We've been discussing what we're going to do at her house and stuff but, she keeps mention-ing about what time i'm going to go home.

her brother just really dislikes me, i don't know why but he does and she wants me out of the house before he gets home.

it's not like he's going to kill me. She invites her friends to her house all the time, her brother doesn't like them either and he doesn't do anything so why do you think she's making a big deal?

Is there something between the lines that I'm missing?

Does she jsut don't want mt coming to her house?

Maybe she doesn't like me anymore?

Am i overanalyzing the situation?

My best friend's brother used to hate me. He didn't have any reason to, either, but still. Once I was over and her mom went, "When are you going? Phil doesn't like you." (Phil being the brother). My friend and I were like, jaw-dropped in awe that she was so rude. But, then we laughed...kinda weird, I know.

Anyways, he likes me now. But I think your friend's brother is just complaining and they just want to be able to tell him a time that you'll be going.

Best friends for years don't just randomly want you to leave their house early. Her brother's probably just being a bother.

Hope I helped, and have fun. =D

I bet you anything its the latter option.

Honestly- she probably just doesn't want her brother to overreact with one of her friends there. Its probably not a big deal at all, seriously.

You're fine. Just enjoy yourself at your friend's.
