wanna switch schools 15/f/sophomore. i have been in the same neighborhood and house, and been to the same schools for elem middle and high. i havent been very happy lately, a lot of my friends keep moving and switching schools, and my only friends left, all except one, i honestly dont really like anymore. they are annoying and drama queens and arent true friends to me at all. anyways, i made the jv cheer squad this year, and just made captain, and i would think that would help me be happier. i do have many more friends, but i still am not happy where im at in life. i have a's and b's, im a good student and stuff. but i feel i just need a change you know. ive known the same people since kindergarten and to be honest i am soo sick of like everyone at my school, especially my friends. ive heard most people that switch are way happier, but a few hate it. im mostly a friendly person so i think i could make atleast some friends, but im worried i will hate it and wish i didnt move. my mom has been wanting to move for quite sometime, and my dad and brother dont care. she said she would switch me if i wanted but i dont no..anyone who has switched or anything, were you happier? and by my quick little life story haha would you think it is a wise choice? i absolutely love my school..well its columbine, yes the shooting school, and such a strong school so it is just really special to me :] haha but i just need a change and need new people in my life. so any advice at ALL would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much. sorry its so long.

You could try visiting another school for a day and going through the classes to see how you like it. It seems that you like your school, but not your classmates. Sorry to say, but it's a lot easier to move you to a different school than to move every other student =).
I moved to a private school and I was a lot happier, because I didn't like getting lost in how many people were at my school, and now I know everyone, but it's ultimately your situation and your choice. Do some research for the academic and extracurricular aspects of the schools you're thinking of transferring into. ]
