im 16 and i have a herniated disk in my lower back
is this bad? what is gonna happen in the future?

Rosie2000 answered Saturday November 3 2007, 7:07 pm: in your lower back its called your lumbar ( i shoudl knwo this.. i have a test on it monday.. ha) thats where most of your back stregth comes from. but you shoudl be using your legs. as for if youll be alright and your future.. you can have imflamation.. which can cause disk degeneration. which pretty much means.. you will have back pain.. theres things you can do for it.. like physical therapy.. or just making sure your pasture and sleeping postions are good. theres lots of little things to do about it. because every case is different your doctor will have to tell you everything you can do for it.
