sorry it is a bit long but please read it! thank you! im reading this book the great gatsby in my english class. i bought the book on tape because its easier for me to understand the book if i hear it. anyways it was $8 for one week. its due back tomorrow i think, or maybe thursday, but i am only on chapter 3 out of 8 or 9..because thats only how far we are in class, and i dont want to read ahead. it might get all confusing. i dont want to spend another $8, but i dont want to have to read it without the tape, or i will not understand it at all! haha. is there any way to burn the discs (it came with 4) onto my laptop? like for itunes you can burn cds or load cds on..is it possible to do that with a book on tape so i will have it for as long as i want?! Thanks So very much!!
Otherwise, if you have a microphone and a sound recording program on your computer, just hold the microphone (or you can use the left side of a set of ear phones as a mic) up to a speaker while you play the cd's and just record it. This is probably the "ghetto" way of doing it, but at least you will have the sound files on your computer. [ Mulva's advice column | Ask Mulva A Question ]
