I'd like to get my hair highlighted, but with a color darker than my original color (brown). I think this is called lowlights? But I'm not sure. And I don’t want to tell them the wrong thing, of course. Nothing too drastic- I just want it to be noticeable.
And I'd like to get it cut a few inches, so that it lands right on my collar bone, and a few layers. Does anyone have a good picture of this kind of hair? (it doesn't really matter what color). I can't find any good ones on the internet, they're all outdated and not very cute.

I like that picture of Keira. It's super simple, but it's really pretty. So if you just want your hair highlighted, just tell your hairdresser "I'd like highlights a bit darker than my color now, and cut so it lands around my collarbone with some layers." 2)I'm not sure if this is a good enough picture of what you're looking for, but it's the only one I could find that was pretty similar to what you wanted. Sorry if it isn't good enough.
