Melissa Etheridge

Question Posted Tuesday October 30 2007, 8:17 pm

This question is about Melissa Etheridge's song "I Want to Come Over."

I was wondering if anyone knew why she wrote this song, or what the meaning of this song is. I really like it, and I would like to know more about it.

If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear from you!

Thanks! =]

Some ideas:

From here: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location), one user thought the song meant "This song is about a infidelity. He was betrayed." and this site: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) says it's about "yearning for that special someone who belongs to someone else."

She's pretty much hoping a certain girl would come over because that's her love interest. My dad told me that! =]
