The relationship I have with my bestfriend Adam is... Diffrent. I really like him, and everyone says we'd make a cute couple, but I'm ugly.
And don't be like oo don't call yourself that no your not.. yes I am. I have naturally curly hair that everyone says they want but it's uncontrolible..and I have discoloration on my neck, armpits, and in between my legs (not IN, but around) not that anyone can see that, but they can my neck and it looks like hardcore dirt but it's not I have Acanthosis Negracans. And it's because im fat. And im not talking a little over-weight, I weight 220 and im 14. and its not portioned on my body.. it's all in my gut!I look like in pegante! Im gross and I do like Adam but I don't get my hopes up with anything. I hate everypart of my body not madder how many times anyone says im pretty. Im not and they're just trying to make me feel better.Pity Me.
Well a couple days ago Adam called me fat. Me&Steven were like attacking eachother when Adam yelled "WATCH OUT BUS IS COMING!!!" and I like broke down.. First I kicked him in the nuts and he tumbled.. and we were gunnago to the dance as friends so he said "Wow, is this how you treat all your dates??" and i laughed and him I said "You must think a lot of yourself if you think I'll even talk to you!" and walked away. and it fealt so good to stick up for myself but i cried all night. I am fat and I dont wanna be but it's so hard, my parents are never home, they never listen to me and it feels like the only time im happy is when im eating (ive been to a theripist and thats what she said.) and when my parents are always argueing and i cant to anything right. I've tried making myself vomit, but nooo it hurt soo bad id rather be the wall i am then have my throat hurt like that. But with Adam he said he was sorry, but he thinks its like a free card. He doesnt mean it! So I told him to leave me alone, it's not going to work your always making fun of me.. and he called me like 20 times that night and my Dad was all why dont u just talk to him.. but im wasnt about to tell him so i just took a long bath until all the icecream was gone (and people wonder why im fat) I broke mirrors, cried until my eyes burned.. and the whole day after that my skin was blotchy, it was obvois i'd been crying and Adam wouldn't leave me alone saying he was sorry. And yes I know people will think im being harsh but hes wasnt the first time making fun of me.. Then when we became talking again we startd hanging out, but i never actually forgave him and i rold him i didnt like him joking about me and he said he would stop and he has. Well last ight my Mom left again for her buseness and my Dad got drunk and i couldnt handle it so I left.. and I walked like a mile dieing, having an asthma attach *I DONT HAVE ASTHMA THO* to Adams house and we just talked. It was fun but should i say im sorry?? to him because I hoe he'll stop because im like 80 pounds overweight, adn im tall for my age. IM HUGGEE so i was wondering should I consider diet pills?
Its getting to cold to start walking and Im not going to ask my parents for a treadmill! I do have an Ablonge tho and I want this gone by next summer. I want my whole gut gone! I wanna be able to wear a bikini or something for the first time in my whole life.. and If i lose weight my discoloration in my neck will go away.then there wont be anything wrong with me.
My Goal= Be able to see my toes.
and be able to shop at like Areopostale and not have people think"why is that fatass shopping here? Like she can even fit in these cloths. Which I cant..
Anything is helpful. I need to go on a diet and i want it gone by summer.. but i dont want like saggy-skin GROSS.
I have Thick Thighs, and stomach but my arms and calf (my calfs mustcle i need ot to lug my ass around.. and my arms are tiny. I dont have a double chin.. its my Stomach mostly no ally.. i want to just eat salads, workout and that's it.
But i dont wanna go hungry. which sounds stupid I know bu i cant sleep hungry I cant even fall asleep hungry..
Anything will be helpful.
As for losing weight, there are plenty of ways to go about it without going hungry. I'm assuming that you're not used to dieting, so you should start off small. Pick 3-5 unhealthy foods/drinks that you have on a daily basis and CUT THEM OUT OF YOUR LIFE. When I decided to lose some weight, all I did was stop drinking regular pop, eating french fries, and I didn't have any ice cream. I didn't exercise or change anything else and I lost 7 pounds within a few weeks. Start with something small like that to boost your confidence and get yourself started.
It's great that you have an AB lounge. Definitely use it at least once a day. Start off at using it for 15 minutes and then try to increase one minute every day. That will really help get rid of the excess fat in your stomach. There are also exercise tapes you can get for the winter months (I know they are cheesy, but they work; plus no one has to know that you use them except you). My favorite exercise tapes are "Walk Away the Pounds." You basically walk 1-3 miles in one place and do various exercises with weights. It really works.
DO NOT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING EXCEPT WATER AFTER 7:00 PM!!! I cannot stress this enough! Any food eaten after that time will become fat simply because your body does not burn as many calories at that time of the day. DO NOT SKIP MEALS OR STARVE YOURSELF IN ANY WAY!!! If you do this, your metabolism will slow way down and will actually cause you to gain weight. If you are hungry, go ahead and indulge in a healthy snack.
Healthy snacks could be some carrot sticks and low fat ranch, some low fat yogurt, a handful of pretzels, some wheat crackers, a handful of cheese cubes, celery with a small amount of peanut butter, fruit, etc. The possibilities are endless as long as you don't reach for potato chips or cookies.
Next time you are feeling sad and reach for that pint of ice cream, think "Why am I upset? What is bothering me?" Now, instead of indulging your feelings in junk food, throw all that energy into working out. Every time your catch yourself eating just because you're upset or bored, go do some sit-ups, use your AB lounge, jog in place, or do ANYTHING that involves you being active.
I'm not sure if you're interested, but a really fun workout is DDR. I spent a whole summer playing it without changing any of my eating habits and I lost 20 pounds.

Volleyball2150 answered Monday October 29 2007, 5:11 pm: The other girl is right... if you are calling yourself fat... that makes you fat. You need to have a positive attitude. What I want you to do is take a dark blanket and cover up all of the mirrors at your house. I know this sounds ridiciculous but I've heard it really works. What it is supposed to do is let you not see yourself in the mirror. Then you work out everyday for about 2 months, and then after 2 months you take down the blankets and you see the new you. If you always look in the mirror, its really bad for you because you always see yourself in a bad way. So just don't look in the mirror for a very long time.
As for that adam kid... he sounds like a huge jerk. Why do you even hang around him??? Think to yourself right now... do you still want to be friends with him if he stopped teasing you?? If the answer is yes, you need to sit him down and talk to him. Tell him that if he makes fun of you again, you'll seriously never speak to him and find another friend. If he keeps on harassing you, I suggest going to a councelor. maybe a school counselor?
As for working out... It sounds to me that you love sweets. eating sweets is ok once in a while, but when it becomes a big deal like 2 times a day... then thats were all of that obesity comes from. Its great that you don't wanna be anorexic and bulimic. Because all that does to you is make your body even worse that what you started as. Its ok to be hungry, but you need to be careful what you eat and how much of it. Like for instance, say you get home from school... instead of having brownies, try a ceasar salad with ranch dressing and crutons with water. for dinner you can try eating mashed potatoes, salad and steamed vegetables like carrots and broccoli. Drink plenty of water. Water actually helps you lose weight, but if you drink that crappy stuff like pop, then it only adds more weight.
As for working out... You should find a local gym and sign up for a membership there. I live near a gym and people can sign up for weight training, yoga, dance classes, track club etc. So maybe you should see if they have any clubs and sign up for one. Bring along music to take your mind off of working out so time goes by faster.
here are some exercises that I do-
My dad says to work-out every other day because if you work out every day then you get a lot of sore muscles and you can rip a lot of them.
So lets start on monday. Monday- start out with your upper body strength... so that would be, biceps, triceps, abs, chest, obliques, and your back.
biceps- do about 100 push=ups a day. I know that seems like a lot. But there's 24 hours in 1 day. That means that you don't have to do 50 push-ups all in one. You can do 10... then break for 10 minutes... then another 10... then break. and keep on going. What I always do is do however many push=ups it takes for a commercial in the TV to end. Then when the show comes back on, i'll watch it.
Go to your local gym or if you have some dumbbells at home, find your appropriate weight (for me its 20lbs per arm) but you can start off easier. And lift dumbbells.
Triceps- weight lifting with dumbbells. have your arms down by your side and then lift one arm up and bend it so that the hand is by your chest and your elbow by your hip. do 10 and 5 reps. 30 sec. - 1 min. break.
ABS- Do about 200 situps a day. ((again, its not that much if you do like 20 and then break, 20, break etc.))
Another exercise is lay down flat on your back, then hold on to something that is sturdy (like a chair, or couch) then lift your feet up and get them to be vertical ( so you are forming your body like an L) Then slowly lower your legs, but do not touch them to the floor. Then lift them back up. If you want it tougher... then lower them to 1 side, but don't tip your body over.
Oh and here's 1 more- again lay down and hold onto something sturdy. Then roll your legs up into your stomach ( like the fetal position ) and roll yourself up so that your back is no longer touching the floor. So the only thing touching the floor would be your shoulders. Then slowly roll back down but keep your legs rolled into your stomach. Don't drop them to the floor! then roll back up and repeat.
this is one of my favs., its called the BOAT. and its kinda hard to explain but i'll try my best. Lay down on a flat surface on your back. then sit up and bend your knees ((so a sit=up position)) now lift your feet off the ground so the only thing touching the floor should be your tailbone ((right above your butt)). Extend your arms out in front of you and just be in that position for 1 minute. You are probably going to start shaking because whenever I do it, I always shake. But thats a good thing because then you know it's working your muscles. If you don't feel it, then try leaning backwards and extending your legs out a little ((keeping them bent still))
Chest- lay on a bench and have your arms extended out so you are like a T. Then have weight in both hands and then slowly bring them up. Then slowly bring them down back to T position. Do 10... 5 reps and 30 sec. break.
Obliques- get into sit-up position. Then do the boat except have your feet in the sit-up position. then take your hands and both of them touch your left foot, then your right foot, left, right. Do about 25 and then rep. 4 X and 30 sec break. then do the same thing except in stead of touching your feet, touch the floor by your side.
Back- doing yoga will help your back muscles, so try doing that.
that's all for upperbody strength...
then Wednesday do lower body strength. Quads, Calves
Quads- WALL SITS- really simple to learn, pretend like you are sitting on a chair... having your back against a wall and there's no support under your butt. Have your legs be at a 90 degree angle. So it looks like you are sitting on a chair, but actually without one.
KING SQUATS- kinda hard. Have a bench or couch behind you. Have one foot on there and the other stretched and bent out in front of you. so it looks like a lunge. The leg that is in the back, has to be higher than your other leg. Slowly lower your back leg so it is parallel with the other leg. Then come back up.
LUNGES- same thing as a king squat, but without the bench/couch. So stand up straight, let 1 foot come out in front of you and bend both knees. Make sure that the front knee isn't over your toes... So if it is over your toes, then you need to step out farthur. Make sure your front knee is parallel to your toes. Then hold this position for 30 seconds and break. switch legs. also make sure that your knees do not touch the floor.
Calves-
find a wall, then lean on the wall with your back against it but have your feet out a little. then bring your toes up and slowly let them down but don't let them hit the floor. Then again raise them up and slowly let them down. Do about 100.
Ladders
find paint tape (( it's blue or someother color that you can see )) and make the tape look like a ladder on the floor. ((kind of like hop-scotch?)) but just boxes in front of each other. Maybe 10 boxes?
2 feet in each box, 1 foot in each box.. forward/sideways/backwards
make sure you do this with your toes only touching the floor, if you have your whole foot on the floor each time you step, it makes a stomping sound and thus it will not work. Make sure you can't hear anything and that your heels are off the ground.
Then Friday- is just exercising... like jumproping, biking, running, play any type of sports, swimming etc.
Then you have the weekend to break. I know that only doing it 3x a week seems like not a lot... but if you do it everyday, you're tearing your muscles apart and that can cause major pain.
Drink protein shakes, eat vitamins, minerals, rest, take hot and cold baths, and STRETCH!! everytime you are done.
If you follow all of those steps, then you'll definitally reach your goal. You just need to have the right attitude and never quit. Don't throw away all of your hard work!!
cheerxleader14 answered Saturday October 27 2007, 9:28 pm: you dont need to starve yourself...if you want to lose weight then you need to do it healthy or i can promise you it WONT come off. i know how you feel i truely do. i lost 20 some pounds over the summer and i feel great! you can eat what you want you just have to have to control your eating adn excersise!! i know excersising may seem like a hassel at first and it will be a huge hassel and downer at first but i PROMISE you after like 2 or 3 weeks it will seem natural and if your going to get an excersise machine i recomend an elliptical they work well!! or try going to your local gym!! Please dont hurt yourself or over ecersise. if you excersise like 3 times a day and eat healthy things then it will probably come off by summer but you have to work hard. oh and DONT take a brake from losing weight if you are going to lose it because once you take a brake its going to be 10 times harder to start again. food is just here to keep us alive life has so much more :) i hope everything works out! good luck and be safe! kaylakrum answered Saturday October 27 2007, 5:57 pm: Ok well i see that you wanna loses weight and thats good but saying you are fat is making it worse for you.I used to be fat too its ok what i did is i went on a diet with my aunt very helpful i go to a gym i wake up at 6:00 in the morning and take a mile jog and bring like a cd player or something to keep my mind off of running,i eat alot of fruits and when lunch comes every day i would get a salad with a juice and a fruit for the side and by the next month or two i lost like 100 pounds i did very good and so can you so try that technique and tell me how it goes!!
