confused about boys

so theres this boy and he told my friend he likes me, but not to tell me.
???
and hes sending me mixed messages so idk. we dont go to the same school, so i havent seen him in a while.

what do i do??

if he told your friend, and is still sends mixed messages, maybe he is too nervous to tell you. it depends on who he is. maybe he was hoping that your friend would tell you anyways, just to see what would happen. he could be afraid that he comes on to you too fast and is afraid of how you look at him.

its a lot of what-ifs. but if you like him, you should try getting closer, deeper conversations, make sure you ask him how his day was. you know, the little things that let him know you care.

if you dont like him, dont be rude and stop talking, just dont progress your relationship any further. leave it as is.
