okay. im a soph in highschool and i have known this girl since 3rd grade from day 1 i have absoulty hated her. last year during freshman year she thought that i was her friend. the few reasons why i absoulty hate her is because she basically brags about herself (because shes rich) and basically is stuck up. shes not pretty at all and not a lot of people like her. my friend karlee hated her too. so we would always say how much we hate her and stuff. ive been in her class in 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th grade. this is teh year shes finally not in any of my classes. so i think okay good now i can just like not talk to her anymore and mind my own business. She comes up to me last friday with my friend karlee right next to her saying, Sarah what is wroung wtih you blah blah blah we use to be best friends last year and now you dont even talk to me (in my head im thinking yeah okay best friends?) and shes like reamber that time in marketbasket when i waved to you and i was like yeah and i waved back.. and she was like well my friend said that you rolled your eyes. im shy to tell someone how i feel so in my head i was like it could have been to my mom or even i could be haveing a bad day you cant just blaim stupid things like that her friend could of been lieing. and honestly i didnt roll my eyes. well anyways, she was saying that i talk shit about her (which i dont) and all this other stuff and that i always give her dirty looks and i never give people dirty looks as much as hate them. and now my friend karlee is friends with her. so all i just said was it wouldnt happen again and i went off and i was so fustrated and stuff. so it was a big mistake and i told this girl but she ended up telling basically everyone. big mistake. well anyways this girl came up to me at lunch shes friends with this girl that was spazzing on me and she was like did you tell kerrie ( the gril who told everyone ) if that girl yelled at you and i was like yeah kinda.. and it was a mistake and after like shes all bugging me if im mad at her and everything. so i told my friend vickey who is a really nice friend. she texted karlee and said " listen karlee i dont think your being a good friend to sarah because the time when she needs you the most your hanging out with that girl you should tell her to stop and if you dont i will" so after that she told off that girl i froget what but shes at one of my lunches and i jsut go to the libary then. and i dont know if i can do anything im like confused if she didnt say anyhting i think that things would have been fine. karlee gives me dirty looks in the halls she sits with that girl at lunch when im there and thats when i go to the libary she doesnt sit with me at my other lunch she sits with some other girl. so she only talks to me in one class that she has no one else to talk to. i dont know what to do. is seh not being a good friend i dont really like this girl who yelled at me so i could care less if were friends or not but ever since she ssiad something it has causes so much stuff. i know this is really stupid but. can i do anything?

You need to stay with your true friends, and just let the other ones go.

hey. i understand. something kindof like this happened to me. all you can do is let your friend know that shes making a mistake and she shouldnt be like that. jsut give it time and if she asks you whats wrond or whats your problem just tell her " look. i dont understand. i dont mind if youre friends with her, but i need you as a friend. but its not really a friend thing to do to do what you did.." just be patient and stick with your true friends for a while and see what happens.. :)
