Well, I can't give you signs. I wish I could, but I can't.
As for email, if you can't talk on the phone then by all means ask her for her email.
Since you told her you can't have a girlfriend, she may be looking for a boyfriend other than just at school.
Just ask her for her email and see how that goes. It will tell you right then and there if she is even interested.
