My parents have paid for this EDIFI thing when i was a freshman, or maybe eight grade, thinking it was the best idea, but it's a scam. Do you think i still have a chance at getting a refund after four years?
WhenIComeAround answered Saturday October 13 2007, 3:18 am: I'm sorry to hear about getting scammed.
In my opinion the only way to get your money back is by alerting the media. Therefore the scam will get bad publicity and either no one will either make the same unfortanute scam your parents fell for, or they will refund your money to try and get good publicity.
I know it's a pain and this is not the answer you want to hear but this is one of the small things you can do to help yourself or others.
Now, for the media program to go to, it depends where you live. Obviously you don't live in Australia but in Australia we have 2 programs with deal with scams and those sorts of things. Go to a program that likes real life sort of sob stories. When applying try to exaggerate as much as you can but if you get picked you can justify it.

Even with these scams people find loopholes/loopolls in any document. Perhaps if enough people go after it you may be able to get some money, but most likely it won't be the same amount you put in:( Sorry about that scam its horrible what people do.
