It's a type of medicine used for people who have ADD and ADHD. Which are basically diseases that make it difficult for the patient to concentrate and such. My brother has it as do many of my friends. I think I may have it slightly.
Anyway, my brother used to take Adderall so I know a good deal about it.
Also, if you don't have ADD/ADHD or some sort of illness that requires you to take it, it has much different effects. Rather than calming you down and forcing you to concentrate, it has the opposite effect. It's kind of like speed in a way. It really speeds you up and can be very dangerous if you take too much.

its a prescription drug used to calm people down that have a disorder called ADHD. which stands for attention defisite* hyperactivity disorder. basically lets them consentrate better and slow their mind down a little bit.
