Money?

Question Posted Sunday October 7 2007, 3:09 pm

How can I make some money besides babysitting, or selling cans or something.

Any ideas? I'm just seeing if there's anything else a 14 year old can do besides selling cans and all that & babysitting.

THANKS!

I know a girl who's made a bunch of money by selling "spirit items" to friends at school. She's made earrings, bracelets, necklaces and purses with the school colors and mascot. They're really cute! She started out making them for herself, and everyone kept asking her where she got them... so she started taking orders. So, if you like making stuff, that's one idea!

if your 14 you can actually work in some food places. I am 14 and I work at Tim Hortons, you should try maybe applying for work there. Umm... You can work in some stores liek No Frills. Look around at different stores many of them are hiring.

Hope I helped

Have you tried asking your parents? Depending on what they do for a living there may be teen appropriate jobs that you could do for a few hours a week. Other teens mow lawns or help neighbors (especially elderly ones) around the house. You could also check the career center/counseling office at your school. Often they know of teen friendly jobs.
