birth control??

i would like to go on birth control, and i live in New York. Is there any way i can get this myself? Or do i need to go to a doctor to perscribe it? because i'm scared if i ever do become sexually active a condom might break.
If i can't get this myself, what is the best brand of condoms to use? Will the most expensive brand work the best?

Uhm...I would say go to planned parenthood teens get it for free there...and I highly suggest NOT using ultra thin trojen...The risk is NOT worth it lol trust me I know sadly luckly i wasnt prego :) yay me lol

You can get birth control at Planned Parenthood, and if you cannot get it, then the best condoms to use are Trojans. However, they're expensive.

<b><i> You can get the pill from the doctors or if their is a health/care centre you may be able to get the medication from there.
The best brands of condoms personally are durex, the best safest types of condoms are ones with a kite on the back this means they have been tested and are classed as safe enough.
