Songs!

Question Posted Monday October 1 2007, 9:50 pm

Heyy (14/f)

for an english assignment, we have to write an analysis of a song, provided by the teacher. I dont really like the ones provided by the teacher and i cant find any really good ones. The song has to basically be kind of like a metaphor, with a lot of thought and a good meaning to it. It has to make you think and wonder and basically explain. Do you have ANY ideas?
Thanks sooo much!

Hey, thanks for the inbox! :)
For really good lyrics the Foo Fighters immediately come to mind. Their new single is amazing ("The Pretender") and their old songs are great too (Everlong & DOA are good examples)

Other songs:
Millstone by Brand New
Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down
Drops of Jupiter by Train
With or Without You by U2
Hollywood Died by Yellowcard
All Around Me by Flyleaf
Candle in the Wind by Elton John
Hotel California by the Eagles

Hopefully you'll like one of those :) Good luck!
