I have the biggest anxiety problems. Over the tiniest most stupidest things. Like, if I lose something in school, I won't stop thinking about it for like...ever. I don't know what to do. This worry thing is driving me insane..How can a person overcome it?

Most people have their own ways of calming themselves down a little. I have a similar problem except mine makes less sense... i get stressed out over dinnertime...not the ppl or anything, just the time... its strange.I do some breathing exercises: breath in through your nose and out through your mouth, then breath in through your nose, hold it for 5 seconds, and let it out, repeat once more but hold for 5 seconds after releasing the breath as well. It seems too simple but this simple breathing can really calm you down. if this is not an on the spot stress thing like an all day thing going home lying down for a little and listening to some good music is great! Away from other, work, phones, or stressful things! Good luck, and just remember to breath... one more thing... think about why this thing would be such a bad thing to happen, most of the time its not as much to worry about as you may be making yourself think.=)
Hope this helps! [ bemyshoulder2crion's advice column | Ask bemyshoulder2crion A Question ]
