Homecoming.

Question Posted Monday October 1 2007, 12:48 am

Homecoming is next weekend, but I'm not sure if I should go. I haven't been asked by anyone, but a bunch of my friends are going as a group. The problem is, I am deeply in love with my best friend, but she has a boyfriend; of course, they will be going to the dance together and will probably make out with each other half the time.

If I don't go, I will just stay home and be miserable. But if I do go, I have to watch my best friend and her boyfriend as well as all the other couples and I'm not sure if I can handle that.

Should I go? And if you think I should go, what advice do you have for coping with watching the girl I love be with another guy? And don't tell me to just move on and get over her; I have been trying for over six months.

Well if you don't go.. years down the track your going to regret not going because of a crush that you've got on your best friend! This only comes around once in your life so I would definitely go!

Just go and have fun.. act crazy.. get all dressed up and go wild!!

The sight of your crush being all over her crush would be hard I know.. it happens to everyone!

But unfortunately your going to have to accept the fact that she is 'in love' with her boyfriend and quiet frankly there isn't really anything that you can do about it!

You can tell her how you feel and wait for her response but honey I don't think this one is going to work out for the best! It's just sadly something that you are going to have deal with!

Just remember that she is your best friend and if she doesn't know how you feel then she is going to be quiet upset that you didn't go and join in all the fun with everyone on your 'special night'

I hoped I helped and I hope that you go to the dance!!

Goodluck and I hope you over come this love for your best friend if it's not going to work out for the best!

GO! Have fun. Half the fun isnt having a date! Its being with your friends and having a good time. And what to do about your future girl; give it time. If her and her boyfriend dont work out then go for her! In the mean time try to go for other girls and play the field. Maybe you'll find the right one and get over your crush.

Hope i helped(:
