Take part in one of your hobbies, read a book, hang out with friends.
Probably not the best suggestion, but I listen to Black Flag when im depressed haha :/ I listen to music that reflects my emotions like blues, punk rock, etc. because i get tired of holding it in soi just let it all out when i listen to music.

*Take a day off from everything. Just do something you haven't done in a while and have a good time. Forget about your worries and just have fun while you can because life will go by very fast.
*Go shopping. If you are a person to whom loves to shop then go shop. Just a little here and there can help you through the year.
*Listen to happy songs. Most of your emotions come from your songs. You learn from them in a way. Go out and get the Hannah Montana CD and blast it. Or you could get a different happy singer Whatever floats your boat:D
*Watch some happy movies. Get in the feeling with a lovey dovey movie. The one where you want to watch a million times again to just see the ending.
*Talk to someone you trust and let out your feelings to yourself, a journal, a person, or maybe even a blog.

Try to stay around people being alone makes it worse because you have to much time to think about things, try talking to oyur parents if possible, i know how parents can be about that stuff...
If your into rock listen to loud music that is positive rather than negative, in other owrds keep your body up-beat you might say.
Theres not too much you can look at but if your around people a lot then you wont have to worry aobut it. Soon this depression will go away because time heals all wounds. Weither physically or mentally.
One more thing although this may be hard while under depression try your hardest to think possitive look at all the possitive things in you life this is known as being "optomistic"

Join a health club, or get a walking buddy...you end up talking while walking which is theropy in itself along with relieving stress from your body.
Take focus off your self and your depression-help someone out. Volunteer to help kids,senior citizens, or animals.
Join a comedy club, or go somewhere where there is comidians, laghing helps alot.
If you dont feel like doing any of these, then of course take pills. Try taking alot of vitamins, and get help from doctors or therapists. Hope I helped!!!!! [ advice15's advice column | Ask advice15 A Question ]
