junebug93 answered Sunday September 30 2007, 7:04 pm: Humans are animals and therefore have an instinct. You've probably witnesses it in your day-to-day life, the instinct to be popular, successful, the instinct to pursue the opposite sex. Our instinct is our drive and motivation and it tells humans what to do a lot of the time even while we are ultimately controlled by the reasoning, thinking part of us (or at least, one would hope).
