Nope, his criminal behavior equals bad news. What more, since you think he's cool, you'll probably want to hang out with them yourself. Even if neither you nor your friend smokes pot, being friends with him might make other people stop trusting you and her. If he's in your car and say the police find drugs on him, you could get in trouble. Talk to her about your doubts, but remember you can't make her not date him. You can choose not be spend time with
them though. Just tell her how you feel, so she knows why you're bailing.
