You may have torn your hymen from sports or something else, so it will just stretch a little.
If you don't stretch yourself out, yes it will hurt when you first have sex.
Some girls bleed while others don't. Some bleed very little while others it's almost like a light period. You don't have to stop having sex because of that unless it grosses you out. Be smart and wear a condom and I'm sure the guy won't be bothered by it.
But you can stretch yourself out and it will hurt less or not hurt at all.

i don't think it's the popping of the cherry that hurts. no matter what, the first time you have sex/masturbate, it will hurt. you do bleed, maybe not as soon as you pop it, but soon after. &no, you don't stop having sex.
