writing to a friend in basic training

Question Posted Tuesday September 25 2007, 5:30 pm

My best guy friend left to go to basic training today. I totally forgot about giving him my address. So I was wondering, is there anyway I can write to where he's stationed at? I know where he's stationed.. Fort Leonardwood in Missouri if that helps any, lol. Could I just get the address of the place & put his name on it, or is it something totally different? Oh, and I know they have a certain time before they can write or call too, does anyone know how long that is? Thanks! :)

Have you asked his family if they could give you the address and when you can write?
I don't know if you just sent it to the base with his name on it that he would get it. He may, but there are lots of people there, all in different areas of the base.
