I'm having a midterm that is coming up for chem? I cannott find one of the questions we have to look up anywhere! If anyone can please help, it would be greatly appreciated! Why is water often used as a standard in making comparisons between substances? If anyone knows please help me! Thank you so much!
theymos answered Wednesday September 26 2007, 7:19 am: It's familiar to us; we already know how much water weights. It's also very difficult to compress it, so its volume will usually be the same. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
