straightening a guy's hair
I'm a guy. My friend straightened my hair for me and I really liked it, so I tried to do it myself with my sister's straightener. I can't do it. My hair doesn't look super-straight when I straighten it. And I can't straighten the back of my head because I'm afraid of burning myself.
Any tips? Thank you.

well as long as your using a small straightener you should be alright. Make sure to divide the hair up into small sections (no wider than and inch), run over each section 3 times fairly slowly to make it super straight...as for the back i suggest setting up a mirror so you can see where your going or ask your sister or someone to help you get the back right until your used to it enough to do it yourself

If this was your first time doing it yourself, it will take practice untill it looks good.. Maybe try setting up a mirror behind your head so you can see the back of your head when lookin into a marror infront of you. Or just ask yourself to help you with the back, Im sure she wont mind.
