i'm so confused lately. like i have to write an autobiograpy for one of my classes and it's all about out experiences as a child and teen and even up to dating and stuff. it got me thinking a lot. i think i might be gay or like bi. i never really think guys are cute or hot and i just never really care about them like most girls my age do. i'm not interested in dating guys anymore like i was and i don't know. in the assignment it wants us to talk about seeing ourselves being married and stuff and i just cannot picture myself being married. i've never felt like actual feelings for a girl, but i kinda feel more attracted to them..i don't know..
any advice would help me a lot, and if you need more info or anything just ask
thank you

First off let me just say that this is not a cause for alarm. About 90% of teen girls your age aren't really interested in guys yet, so what your feeling is completely normal. Very few are actually the guy crazy girls that most believe are the norm of your age.
Times now can be very overall confusing for teenagers; especially now that sexual orientation is such an open issue. It is good and healthy to wonder and explore the feelings and changes happening in your body. It's when your holding them in and just trying to fake it that you need to worry. For right now, I would say just sit back and don't worry about figuring it all out right away. Your body and heart will take you where its meant to be in due time, and when it does your answer will make itself known. Everybody goes through this at one point or another in their life; your very mature for thinking these things through already at your age. Don't stress it, when the time comes you'll make the right decision.

Freshman year is generally when you can experiment, when others get more open to try new things. Chances are your not the only one that feels like this. Being curious, there's nothing wrong with that. But don't start saying you know until your really for sure, that could get you into a huge mess. [ Chika's advice column | Ask Chika A Question ]
