i want to ask my girlfriend to homecoming in a cute creative way, but not too cheesy. do you have any ideas on how i could ask her?

my cousin was asked this way and i thought it was really cute.
her boyfriend took flower pedals and layed a path through out her house that led to her room where he was standing there with a bouqet of flowers and then asked her then. once she got in the room the flower pedal path turned into a heart. it was sooo cute!
she absolutely loved it!

Maybe send a bouquet of roses or her favourite flowers with a card, asking her to the homecoming, or, make a t-shirt with the question printed on it, or just by your finger-prints, that's creative!

I found these ones, and they are adorable!
Write your date information on small slips of paper (time, place, date, type of dress, etc.) then slip each one into a different balloon. Inflate the balloons and tie them together with ribbon or make a bouquet out of them. Deliver to your date's house, classroom, or work.
Leave several goldfish in their bathtub. Leave a note saying, "Of all the fish in the sea, I chose you to . . ." (Go to the Prom, spend my Friday night with, etc.)
Spell out the invitation using plastic knives and forks poked into your date's lawn. Leave a picture so your date knows who it is from.
Use Alpha Bits Cereal or alphabet pasta to write out the invitation
