oily face

Question Posted Tuesday September 18 2007, 6:47 pm

Even when i wash my face in the morning, and i don't put on alot of makeup (at the stuff i do put on is the oil-free stuff), my face is always REALLY oily by the end of the day. Does anyone know some kind of product that they've used that they can reccomend that would help. Preferrably something that i would just have to put on or whatever in the morning, and not put on when my face gets oily (cause' i don't want to do it in the middle of school or when i'm out someplace) THanks.

I say it's always best to use a simple acne and oil fighting product; such as:

(which can be purhchased at Walgreens for $4.49)

or:

follwed immediately by:

(which can be purchased at Walgreens for $6.99)

Also, if you're willing to entertain the idea of a facial, those are awesome. Certain types target specific problems, so make sure to read the label. It's a fun, easy and CHEAP way to renew your skin. I usually get some friends together and make a night of it, but that's just me. :P If you're interested though, we keep it simple.. and use:

(that one claims to spefically target oily skin, but there's many different packets produced by that company.)

Those are the products I use, and I can honestly say I have seen nothing short of fantastic results.

Well i would advise you to cleanse tone and moisturise twice a day using all products suitable for oily skin, I've got oily skin myself and I have a friend in beauty therapy who gives me tips.
Also try applying face masks for oily skin at least once a week.
These products aren't all expensive you can easily purchase cheaper ones that do the same job.

Also if you wear make up and find that it appears shiny during the day, apply a translucent powder to give your skin a matte appearance.

Have you tried.. Neutrogena rapid clear oil-control foaming cleanser?

Astringents with acetone are most suggested to use for oily skin. Don't use products too much because it will dry your skin out. It looks good a while but in the end, your skin gets twice as oily. Even oily skin needs moisture.

You can try these:

Carry them in a bag and go in a bathroom [it doesn't smudge makeup or anything]

You just need new products. Or go talk to a dermatologist who will give you something that will work.
