Question Posted Tuesday September 18 2007, 6:35 pm
Hi guys, right now ive got myself completly confused about my female parts lol
Ive been having periods for about 3-4 years now, but heres the thing my vagina seems completly weird Im a virgin btw but i dont seem to a hymen but i have like a bit of skin right above my vagina which feels completly gross to touch. Im completly worried as I dont know what it is, and also my vagina appears to be too small.
Am I being worried about nothing, or is it something really important?
Thanks in advance!!
xo

That skin is probably the flap of skin above your clitoris. Your hymen is probably up farther in your vagina...there is no precise location for every single girl. It's really nothing to worry about. It's just the way that your body is designed. You also have to remember that the hymen stretches and moves a bit to help tampons go in and also fingering yourself. You might have popped it...but it's unlikely...but even if you did that doesn't make you no longer a virgin..I was horseback riding when I was 8 and mine popped...you can also pop in several other ways...my friends was popped by a tampon because she forced it in..that doesn't mean that I lost my virginity to a horse or that she lost hers to a tampon...maybe you have already popped it...but if your just super concerned go see a gynecologist. They'll be able to tell you. [ superstarblue89's advice column | Ask superstarblue89 A Question ]

If you seriously think something is wrong, you should get checked out but I feel you're over reacting. Perhaps use Google to search or look at pictures. They would definitely put your mind at ease, as you would see you probably aren't alone. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
