I recently heard that a guy I made out with might have mono. How can I tell if I have it?

Don't expect to feel sick immediately, as symptoms don't appear for two to six weeks after contact.
However, if you begin to feel fatigued, have a sore throat, break out in a rash, lose your appetite, or have a fever, make a visit to your doctor and get a test done to see if you have mono. Despite its "kissing disease" nickname, you can catch mono just by drinking out of someone's glass, so even single gals should be aware!
