It's possible you have Bacterial Vaginosis. If this is the case, you need to see you doctor for antibiotics to clear it up. It's usually caused by an inbalance of good to bad bacteria in that area and has a 'fishy' smell. It's not sexually transmitted and is easily cured.

I've given you a web link with more information so that you can check all the symptoms.

Discharge is your vaginas way of cleaning itself and acts as a natural lubrication. It's normal.
However, it shouldn't exactly smell. It could be a number of reasons, ranging from poor hygiene to an infection.
There is no way to get rid of discharge, although if it bothers you alot, you can wear a pantyliner - not a pad, as I'd imagine them to be quite uncomfortable for every day use.

You can not get rid of discharge. It's there to clean out your vagina. If it really bothers you that much, you could put a think ulta pad on your underware when you know a lot is coming out, this will also help reduce the smell. You could take showers daily if you don't already. When you get discharge that is normal, and it can be runny, heavy or which ever way every girl is different. Remember that.
