contacts...
well my parents wont let me get contacts unless i come up w/ a good reason of why i should have them instead of glasses..... any suggestions........
....please dont give the "oh ppl at skool make fun of me" crap cuz they wont believe it

You can see a lot better with contacts since they cover your entire field of vision. In other words, your peripheral vision will be greatly increased. Glasses tend to distort what you see. For example, things can be closer or farther away than they appear, or your glasses may make things look curved that are straight. Contacts would thus improve your hand-eye coordination. They often have full UV protection. They won't get foggy or get rain on them and have to be cleaned constantly because of fingerprints and dust. There's no glare. They won't hinder you from being active and/or participating in sports. They will help your self-esteem because you will look better with them. I hope those things help. Good luck! :)

sports. gym class. they fall off, slide a lot. and sometimes balls knock them off while playing sports. plus, you can acrually see better. the glasses on get so close to your eye, the contacts are ON your eye. :]
